Pixel mapping
Driving each light source by its position so that it shows a particular pixel of an image.
In pixel mapping light sources are treated like the pixels of a screen: each shows its own part of the image based on where it is. Scattered sources can then form waves, text or a logo.
In Superevent CrowdLight the pixel is the audience member's phone. No colour is sent to each person; the phone works out its colour from the show package it downloaded beforehand and its own seat coordinates. The seat comes from a ticket import, a seat QR code or a pick on the map; in standing areas a section is chosen. Location is never estimated with GPS or Bluetooth.
